Steel Tank Institute - Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI-SPFA) and Industry Experts Present Pressure Vessels: Technical Workshop

LAKE ZURICH, IL, July 12, 2017 -The Steel Tank Institute-Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI-SPFA presents Pressure Vessels: Technical Workshop on September 25, 10 am-4 pm at the Hilton Post Oak Hotel in Houston.

Pressure vessel fabricators, specifiers, designers, and engineers will appreciate this opportunity to learn from these industry experts:

  • Metals Applications, with Andy Personett, VP Technical, New Castle Steel. Andy has been with New Castle and its predecessors (Outokumpu and Avesta Sheffield) for 20 years and has extensive experience in material specifications and testing, process metallurgy, and material selection for end-use applications.
  • Welding Techniques, with Mike Heinrich, VP Operations, Boardman, LLC. Mike has been with Boardman for 11 years, starting as a welder and moving on to QC, welding manager, shop foreman, and now as vice president of operations. He has been active on the ASME Sect IX BPV Committee and is a member of the Section IX BPV Resource and Development Group.
